Exam Invigilators Needed – NZQA External Examinations 2026
As St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College prepares to host its first-ever NZQA external examinations, we are seeking reliable and responsible members of our wider College community to assist our Exam Centre Manager (ECM), Helen Prasad, as Exam Invigilators.
Invigilators play an important role in helping ensure examinations are conducted calmly, fairly and in accordance with NZQA requirements. Full training will be provided by Helen, and successful applicants will also be required to attend briefing and training meetings prior to the examination period.
Expected Availability
Invigilators do not need to be available for all three examinations. We welcome expressions of interest from people who can commit to one, two or all three exam sessions.
If selected, invigilators will need to be available before the advertised examination start time to assist with preparation and candidate entry, and remain until the examination session and any required pack-up procedures are complete. Attendance at pre-exam briefing and training sessions will also be required.

Training and guidance will be provided prior to the examinations, and remuneration for invigilators is provided directly by NZQA.
