We would love to invite you to our Spring Knitter Knatter - a relaxed afternoon for our wonderful community of knitters, sewers and makers to come together, share ideas and enjoy some time with others who love creating handmade gifts.
If you haven’t joined us before, you are very welcome! Whether you have been supporting the Hospital for years or this is your first time coming along, we would love to meet you.
Your knitting, sewing and handmade creations make a profound difference in our hospital and community, providing warmth, comfort and hope to children and families when they need it most. This gathering is a chance for us to thank you, celebrate your generosity and share the impact your wonderful work has made.
Spring Knitter Knatter
Wednesday 14 October
Doors open: 1.30pm
Event: 2.00pm – 3.00pm
We’ll start with refreshments before hearing from our guest speakers. You’ll also have the opportunity to bring along your latest creations to display and share, see what others have been making, gather some new ideas and hear first-hand from frontline staff about the difference your contributions make.
Where:
16 Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe – Seventh-day Adventist Church
There is plenty of free parking on site. Please head to the left rear of the church when you arrive.
You are very welcome to come with a friend, as a group, or with your driver.
A little note about the location
We understand that an afternoon event offsite from Middlemore Hospital may not suit everyone. We hope this provides a lovely opportunity for those who can join us, and our next Knitter Knatter will be held in the morning, on site at Middlemore.
